The Akhani Group and Energy Cybernetics have launched RevoluSun, a basket of innovative energy solutions and services for the African mining industry.

The new product offering develops and integrates renewable energies with conventional power systems. It offers the optimal mix between conventional power, renewable and green technology, carbon offset and fuel reduction, minimising exposure to volatile fuel costs.

Energy security

RevoluSun also combines innovative grid-connected energy solutions with a customer-centric methodology. It promotes energy security, energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness, while creating sustainable business value through effective energy management.

“Our focus is not only on addressing the energy challenges and business problems you might face in your daily operations,” explains Akhani Group COO Deon Fuhri.

Customisation

“We take time to understand your business requirements and ensure sustainable operational performance through customisation of our product and service offering.”

“RevoluSun will help you achieve and maintain optimal business performance, unlocking business value into the future,” says Frikkie Malan, operations director at Energy Cybernetics.

Partnership

Infrastructure solutions group Akhani and energy management services company Energy Cybernetics announced a partnership in March to identify opportunities to roll out solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and bring down the costs of energy in sub-Saharan Africa.

The two South African companies planned initially to reduce the monthly energy costs at ‘identified sites’ by between 15% and 20% through the implementation of solar PV and related energy-efficiency projects.
